Mary Summitt, three-time winner of the survivor division for the Tri for the Cure particpiated in the 4th annual triathlon this year on a relay team with two of her close friends. Cancer has returned to Summitt’s hip; however, she is currently batting the disease with treatment and participated in the swimming portion of the race. Her courage and strength are highlighted in the story.
