Three Heart Transplants One Family

Refugia Moore, grandmother and legal guardian to Samantha (16), Gary (15) and Brandi (11) was given shocking news when she learned that all three of her grandchildren were diagnosed with restrictive cardio myopathy, a fatal heart defect that would mean all three children needed heart transplants in order to have a chance at survival. The Ronald McDonald House of Denver welcomed the Moore family as they prepared for two of the children to get their transplants. Vickie Bane reported on this story.
