More than 650 runners put on their “blue shoes” and ran in support of The Urology Center of Colorado Foundation’s first annual Blue Shoe Run for Prostate Cancer. This family-friendly event was held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 and was a huge success. Over $46,000 raised from The Blue Shoe Run will go toward TUCC Foundation’s efforts to improve local prostate cancer screening, community education and research programs. A free prostate cancer screening was also provided at TUCC the morning of the race.

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Colorado today, but it’s also very treatable when diagnosed at an early stage. For more information, please visit www.tucc.com.
