Mark Stevens

Senior Counselor

TBG:
Tell your own story. There’s a good chance nobody else is doing it for you. There is good chance nobody else should do it for you. Make sure the world knows why your organization exists, how it plans to make the world a better place, and how you’re going about achieving those goals.

Background:
I spent 20-ish years in journalism—The Christian Science Monitor, Rocky Mountain News, MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, and The Denver Post. I spent 11 years as director of communications for Denver Public Schools (working with five superintendents during that time), another 18 months doing the same job in Greeley, and four more years holding down the same position for The Colorado Department of Education. As a freelancer, I’ve helped a variety of non-profit and education related organizations with their public relations and communications needs.

After hours:
Writing. Reading. Hiking with our two dogs. Playing bass with a cover band. And hosting a weekly radio show for KSJD in Cortez.

Fast facts:

Music: The more, the merrier.

Sports: Rockies, Red Sox, all of baseball at any level!

Hometown: Lincoln, Mass.

Yeah, Mark is pretty cool, but let’s go see more of Team TBG!

Take me there!
