Following Shantel Miller’s death in April 2008, her mother made the difficult decision to donate her organs. Today, Shantel’s organs have kept eight people alive and her gift will be recognized at the annual Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1st. On December 14, Shantel’s family and friends gathered at a ceremony hosted by Donor Alliance to decorate a floragraph that will be placed on the Donate Life float on January 1st.
