Sparboe Farms of Hudson and Morning Fresh Farms of Platteville delivered 60,000 eggs — that’s 5,000 dozen — to the food bank Tuesday morning as part of 325,000 eggs that were delivered to food banks throughout the state by the Colorado Egg Producers Association. It marked the third consecutive year Colorado Egg Producers and Feeding America teamed up to help the more than 600,000 people who are at risk of hunger in Colorado.
