High fives all around for Easter Seals of Colorado, one of our state’s most important organizations for residents with disabilities. Due to some amazing schmoozing by Easter Seals Development Director Amy Kusek, NBC’s Last Comic Standing winner, Denver’s own Josh Blue, agreed to tape a PSA about Easter Seal’s upcoming Tax Check-Off effort.
Blue earlier served as a camp counselor for Easter Seals of Colorado, so Kusek knew he’d be happy to hear from his old buds. The taping occurred on “Blue Monday,” when the city honored Blue for his Last Comic Standing win.
This is the first year Easter Seals of Colorado will be on Colorado state tax forms as a check-off option. Getting some “Denver royalty” to endorse the effort should result in a nice return for this worthy organization.
The Bawmann Group was happy to assist Easter Seals with the PSA’s taping. We’re fools for a good cause (and for a little celebrity elbow rubbing). We encourage everyone to contribute to Easter Seals when completing their taxes in ’07.
