I bring a strong strategic planning background to the TBG team. Working with organizations and businesses to define their messaging, leverage brands and drive communications campaigns. My sweet spot is bringing vision to the idea to support business success. I bring all the tools together to support the goals of businesses, associations and nonprofits through marketing communications, public relations and community relations.
Who knew that my calling would be discovered by a middle school counselor! I began my career with the American Heart Association right of college and moved into counseling in 1989 and I’ve never looked back. I’ve worked in healthcare, engineering, higher education, agriculture, plumbing and real estate. My journalism degree from Colorado State University has served me well. I’m honored to have served as the 2017 national chair of the Public Relations Society of America, the largest communications association in the U.S.
Laughter is at the core of all things for me. My hashtag #CJRevolution is all about sharing that laughter and joy around. When I’m not spending time with family, I’m sharing memories with friends. I love to entertain, get rowdy at game nights, read and take in a movie. My husband, Ken, and I love to travel. We’ve been to 3 continents (4 to go!), 40 states (10 to go!) and 15 countries (still so many to go!) I’m a proud mom to 3, a die-hard Rockies fan and live life to the fullest.
