Teachers Tour Farms to Learn Tricks of Agricultural Trade

20 Colorado teachers have spent this week touring farms across Larimer and Weld counties, learning about the science, technology and history behind the state’s agriculture business. The course is sponsored by the Colorado Foundation for Agriculture and is geared toward K-12 teachers who have little or no background with agriculture. Bette Blinde is executive director of the foundation as well as executive director of the Colorado Egg Producers Association.
