Program brings more fathers to elementary school

Children with involved, present fathers are twice as likely to graduate from high school. Urban Colors Arts & Mentoring, one of 27 programs funded through the Colorado Promoting Responsible Fatherhood Initiative, launched the Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students) program at Green Valley Elementary School last fall in order to increase paternal involvement at the school.
