The statistics are staggering. Approximately 90 percent of teen fathers leave their children. For TeRay Esquibel, that’s not an option. As a participant in the Parent Pathways Young Fathers Program, funded by the Colorado Promoting Responsible Fatherhood Initiative, TeRay was paired with a mentor who helped him prepare for the life changes he would experience as a young father.
