Which is exactly what the Colorado Egg Producers (CEP) are striving to do this holiday season. With the help of the world’s fastest omelet maker, Howard Helmar, CEP has been educating the general public about the importance of including eggs in their diets.
On Thursday, Nov. 19th, CEP provided an omelet breakfast to more than 75 people at the Weld Food Bank and donated $1,000 to support its new kitchen campaign which is used to help feed children at risk of food insecurity. Then, on Saturday, Nov. 21st,
CEP partnered with the American Egg Board (AEB) to provide breakfast to more than 700 people in need at Food Bank of the Rockies in Denver. Together with AEB, CEP donated 100,000 eggs to ensure that each person picking up their food items received a free dozen eggs to take home.
Kudos to CEP for helping so many Coloradans to have an egg-cellent holiday season! Click here to check out the media coverage generated for CEP.
